...i must share my experience of this company, explicitly the site in New Paltz, NY... ...they 0did not provide crucial and necessary information for the parking space i was to rent at their facility...after i called, made reservations online, and finalized arrangements with a member of the staff at the site, i was informed that to park my trailer at the facility, i only needed my license and proof of registration...this was repeated multiple... Got my unit opened by another person. Stole some of my stuff. They put another lock. Lost over 4 grand worth of tools. Think about renting with this people. They dont have video cameras inside the hallways only outside Add comment

Extra Space purchased my storage facility from Fibber McGee about a year ago. I have 2 units and have been a customer for 25 years. We just don't have the room in our home for tools, automotive parts, decorations etc. Extra Space smiled in our faces when they took over " oh a seamless transition... no rate increase"... ZERO STARS!!! Our 2013 Casita travel trailer was stolen from the Bonanza location over Christmas. Per Jasmine, our trailer was there on the 21st. Our neighbor rents the space next to ours and reported the trailer was gone on the 26th. Twelve days later, no surveillance video has been referred to the police. Local management was quite receptive during the initial review of the units, but once I was renting a number of their units, the attention and service soon disappeared! This company continues to raise their rate's, The first one is in five month's then every nine month's after that. They have a big turn around in managers because they treat them wrong so they quit, They have one person trying to help 6 customers and keep the property clean, They say you have to take there insurance Even if you have home owners insurance, I tried to talk to a District Manager in CT and they never returned my call.
